Cynthia Njuguna (she/her) founded Intermission after seeing too many products with potential fail due to impersonal and unclear marketing. She believes that enabling users to see themselves in marketing messages is key to standing out in today’s crowded market.

For over eight years, Cynthia has helped drive engagement, retention, and growth in industries ranging from software to meal kit delivery. She combines research and learning design to distill complex products into clear and impactful value for customers.

What types of companies do you work with?

We work with early-stage startups to large enterprises, focusing on product and service-based businesses. Our roster includes software, hardware, beauty, wellness, and meal delivery clients.

Do you help create sales materials or manage marketing channels?

We update your website, in-product onboarding, and lifecycle marketing messaging, and provide wireframes with ready-to-use copy. Keep in mind that our wireframes are pretty bare-bones, design-wise. However, we don’t manage marketing channels or design assets. Instead, we establish a strong foundation—through positioning, messaging, and go-to-market playbooks—for your team to develop materials and improve messaging across channels more efficiently.
